The helmet is not working and technical support is not responding.The helmet cannot upgrade the firmware. The orange lights are flashing all the time and the helmet cannot connect to my phone. I want to return it. But I'm afraid I won't have the helmet or the money.

It works good with firefly. The helmet fits good on my „Münsterlander“ head. A perfect combination for Security on a bike.

customer support for returns does not work at all

They are all in cold quality, but two of the clips are broken and so I can’t use them. That’s fat.

It tooks a few minutes following instructions and now my head stays warm on chilly mornings. A surprising benefit is that my situational awareness is better as I no linger have the wind whistling in my ears. I’m loving the modular aspect of my Lumos

The weather has not been biker friendly so just by trying it on several times I really like the helmet especially the fit. I am pleased to find a larger size that fits comfortably. I was able to get a nice gray that is close to the color of my e-bike.

The helmet never arrived, I wrote the support team several times but they did not respond. My money is still gone

I finally got to ride again and used the remote turn signal switch. It is great. It reminds you it is still on if you forget or delay turning it off. Nice features and easy to use.

The original cable broke after only 3 years . Therefore needed to buy an expensive replacement . It’s s pity these cables are not standard USB-C

Great product, fantastic visibility to let those behind me (vehicles) that gets their attention that a cyclist is ahead.
I give it 5 stars, the only product enhancement would be the equipped turn signal device. After a couple battery changes, the slot is weak and widens to where you cannot replace a drained battery.

Being able to make adjustments to how the blinkers work is neat too

I really like how this Ultra E-bike helmet integrates with the lighting ecosystem. The easy off buckle is great. A major weakness is the face shield. If it gets scratched or damaged, it is not easily replaceable since the clear polycarbonate portion is integrated with the front side lights. One would have to replace the entire electrical assembly with the face shield. An opportunity for Lumos would be to make tear offs for the face shield like are made for motorcycle/race car helmets. I’d definitely buy some to protect the faceshield.

The only issue that I have is that the adjustment and inner helmet sometimes rest on my ears. Sometimes I get the perfect adjustment but other times I am adjustments mid ride.

Once the helmet has that "fit" i consider it to be a great helmet.

I've been using the Lumos Ultra paired with the Firefly Mini for about two weeks now, and it's been fantastic. The whole setup is super straightforward — from the initial install to the well-designed mobile app. The pairing between helmet and lights works seamlessly, and being able to turn all the lights off at once? Amazing. The magnetic mounts? Also amazing. Visibility overall? You guessed it — amazing!

I've been riding around Toronto and have already gotten compliments from motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. I even ordered extra mounts so I can replicate the setup on my cargo bike. The remote is a great addition too — love the turn signal feature.

If I had to nitpick, the only downside is the automatic brake light feature. In Toronto (aka “Pothole City”), it’s hard to get the remote to distinguish between actual braking and sudden jolts from bumps. But honestly, that’s more of a Toronto problem than a Lumos one. 😂

I’ve already been recommending Lumos to all my cyclist friends. You can never be too visible — but it’s important to be considerate too. I really appreciate that Lumos lights are bright enough to alert, not blind. Safety and kindness go hand in hand.

# Lumos Helmet EU Review

I recently purchased a Lumos Helmet from the EU store and couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. The delivery was remarkably fast, arriving much sooner than I had anticipated.

The helmet itself is fantastic - the quality is immediately apparent when you take it out of the box. The construction feels solid and durable while remaining lightweight enough for comfortable daily use. The integrated lighting system is brilliantly designed and highly visible to traffic from all angles.

What impressed me most was the excellent value for money. While not the cheapest option on the market, the features, build quality, and safety benefits completely justify the price point.

I've now been using it for several commutes, and it has performed flawlessly in various weather conditions. The battery life has been consistent with what was advertised.

I would highly recommend the Lumos Helmet to any cyclist looking to enhance their visibility and safety on the road. It's a worthwhile investment that delivers on all its promises.

I've got compliments and thumbs ups from other cyclist and drivers having the led turns signals on the front and back of the helmet. I had the Lumos Ultra which was great, but I love the front LEDs on it so I can let the people in front of me know where I
am going along with the back and how they can be seen from the sides as well. Another thing that they improved on was how I interacted with the turn signals. On the Ultra I could not hear it very well on a windy day or in my winter wear on my head or tell the difference if I was going left or right, but they have changed it now with the Ultra E-Bike where even in all my winter wear it comes through crisp and clear and the left is one beep and the right is two beeps which very helpful to not put the turn signal upside down on my bike. I also love the magnetic clip. It's so easier to take on and off. The gesr is great to adjust especially in the spring where it's freezing in the morning, but in the afternoon coming home it's fine without a cap on so I can make those adjustments quickly. The visor I am mixed feelings. It would be great if the front LEDs were not integrated into the visor since it has a pretty harsh glare at night through the visor. It would also be great if they had interchangable visors to put on a dark tint during the day. I love how it pairs with their other LED magnetic lights, but I do have a few issues with them which are not related to the helmet. I am careful with it since the visor is on the outside and I don't want to have a big scratch on it. Overall, I would recommend this product to others if you have the money. Compared to other helmets I have had the weight is not bad and you don't really notice it like any other helmet.

The website showed that the Firefly 2 pack came with a charger (as one would expect) but they only sent me lights. I contacted the company and it took a few tries to get them to understand the problem. They admitted in writing that their website was "misleading" and thanked me for bringing it to their attention so they can fix it. However, they have made no effort to make things right for me. In the meantime, I am left with lights that are useless because I have no way to charge them.

Haven’t received the item and customer support takes forever to resolve the issue.
