This is definitely one of the best items I have bought for riding my bike in a very long time. After a near miss in a traffic circle, I realized I was not getting seen. Now with all the lights on my helmet, I feel much safer!

Super Hell und sehr einfach zu bedienen. Die Installation zur App funktioniert einwandfrei und ist sehr einfach zu bedienen.Die Synchronisierung mit dem Lumos Helm Ultra und der Fernbedienung funktioniert hervorragend. Bin sehr zufrieden mit den Geräten.

Die Firefly light sind eine tolle Ergänzung als Blinker oder Zusatz als Front. und-oder Rückleuchten...
Als Blinker sind sie leider nicht zuverlässig! Es kommt öfter vor, das das Blinken nach Schalterbetätigung nicht ausschaltet, was besonders für hintere Blinkleuchten nicht ungefährlich ist. Da man es beim Fahren auch auf Grund von evtl. Seitentaschen nicht sehen kann. Man blinkt weiter... was zu Missverständnissen mit anderen Verkehrsteilnehmern führen kann und auch Unfälle provoziert..

A good fit and very snug…..in a cold blast and torrential rain, ears warm and head dry , though my neck became wet as rain ran off helmet and liner-good value

Fits well and the lights work a treat, but there are no instructions which is a real pain. The QR codes just take you to review sites and you have to look at random YouTube videos to work it out.

The indicators on the remote work about 5% of the time, and not at all when paired with an Apple Watch. Very disappointing.

The visor fits okay and keeps some rain off. It’s expensive for what it is, but a necessary evil for glasses wearers.

The worst is that Lumos are completely unresponsive to emails when you ask for help.

A good product, let down by non-existent customer service.

Lumos Firefly Mini

I haven't gotten the auto brake light to work yet; otherwise, I love all other features. Battery-wise, I get about an hour of use on the boost setting, which is just enough for my daily commute to and from work. The lights are strong and powerful, both in material and lumen output. They're not the brightest but very reliable. Sometimes indicating can cause problems, but with a few right and left indications, it auto-fixes itself, or just double-tap a fully functional light, and the out-of-sync light will sync back up with the rest.

I wish they had an emergency stop feature. It could maybe be incorporated through the phone's gyro or an updated controller with an extra button.

Charger not included; any Qi wireless charger will do just fine. I would strongly recommend buying the 4x charger dongle if buying four or more lights.

Have had two of these helmets and they’re great but they fit weirdly. I always get marks on my forehead no matter what unless its on fully loose.The size is big enough but it just doesn’t sit right and there isn’t enough padding. Size up I think

Customer service was great to replace the helmet due to Switch cover corroded and the new helmet have improved design with separated switch cover for improved durability .

Perfect execution. Now I need a front mount that is similar.

So I own the lumos ultra and have been very, very happy with it since its Kickstarter introduction. But I didn't understand MIPS technology at the time and recently got an e-bike and started winter commuting so it was time for an upgrade.

My housemate owns this helmet so I was able to trial it. I can't do it.

I hate to be down on lumos. They make absolutely solid cutting-edge products that WORK. Which is hard to do. They continue to improve and innovate and I want them to keep it up.

But here are the things that I think need a re-visit. A combined M/L size makes this helmet VERY bulky and unwieldy. The fact that the outer edges sit so far away from the head, exacerbates the fact that it's very heavy. It feels more than 5oz heavier than the ultra.
It could use more padding, especially at the crown. My ultra was not the best in terms of comfort but it was fine. 40-50 mile rides were not uncomfortable. But unfortunately, a heavier, bulkier helmet can't fly under the radar where pressure points are concerned. If there's a slight irritation anywhere, it will soon be unending. I can't handle this helmet and I'm blown away that some reviews describe it as comfortable. I guess everyone's head is different.

Lastly, while this face shield does accommodate my proud-NASA-engineer-circa-1969 large eyeglasses, it also allows wind to swirl around inside the face shield bc it doesn't contact the contour of the face. My housemate is quite disappointed and feels he has to also buy goggles to go under the helmet as winter commuting was his main reason for investigating in this helmet. He is very happy with the lights tho, of course.

I really, really wanted this to be my e-bike helmet as I have LOVED always having lights with me and only having to plug it in every few days. I thought this was going to be the winter-commuting GOAT. But it was a no from me and I went with a competing face-shield MIPS helmet that I can attach lights to.

I have to give the liner five starts, because technically speaking, I experience a problem with the helmet strap, not the liner itself. I've got a rather big head, and when the liner is fitted, the helmet straps click in and press rather firmly against my chin, which is not only uncomfortable but also restricts movement a little bit.

The liner itself is a very useful addition without a doubt. Well designed and would keep you warm during colder days.

Great product and the magnets are nice and strong, just wish I had bought a new usb c indicator remote rather than trying to revive my old one as the buttons don't work.

I have the helmet and like 10 of the lights. I love them. I can tell drivers can see me in the daylight and that I am turning. Great product.

After a year of ownership, one of my set of four firefly lights had a battery problem. Lumos replaced it in a speedy and trouble free manner. Great lights and an excellent company. Thank you!

At first I buyed 2 Lumos Firefly. Why I buyied the third? Because it is a chameleon light and allows you to do what other lights cannot do.

My helmet is the Lumos Ultra Mips size M. I only bought size M since it was advised for Mips helmets. My usua helmetl size is S. Since the helmet is a size M I bought the liner in size M, too. But this was the wrong decision. The liner is too big for my head. The ear covers go nearly down to my chin.
Still, the liner works better than my former ‚under helmet cap‘ that constantly slid into my eyes.

Thus, buy the liner true to your head size, not to your helmet size.

Ist mein dritten Lumos Helm, nach einem Sturz musste mein Lumos Ultra FLY ersetzt werden.
Durch den Accident Replacement bekam ich ein gutes Angebot dadurch habe ich mich für den Lumos Ultra Fly Pro entschieden.
Der Helm passt perfekt, MIPS würde ich immer wieder nehmen.
Der After Sales bei Lumos ist wirklich top.
